About this area
Pegasus Path is in an area of the woodland called the 'Scouts Land'. This section of Ashplats Wood was originally bought by the people who built the nearby houses, but they discovered that the area was too wet to build houses on, so it was donated to the local scout group. They occasionally used the woodland, but they were not able to maintain the woods so it was eventually donated to the owners of the rest of the woodland. The conservation group is now working on removing invasive species of plants and holly, which took up most of the area.
Bluebells
During late April/early May, the bluebells are in full bloom and add to be beauty of the woodland.
