Zimný potok sa nachádza za mestskou častou Stropkova - Bokša. Zimný potok je zaradený do vodárenského toku rieky Ondava na území okresu Stropkov. Medzi vodárenské toky rieky Ondava sú okrem Zimného potoku zaradené aj toky Chotčianka a Vojtovec. Toto zaujímavé miesto ponúka turistom rôzne druhy fauny a flóry. Spomeniem napr. salamandru škvrnitú, ktorá sa najčastejšie zdržiava v okolí čistých lesných potôčikov a studničiek, kde sa aj rozmnožuje. Z toho vyplýva , že prostredie je pomerne čisté a oku lahodiace. Zaujímavosťou tohto stanovišťa sú aj veľké skaly , ktoré sa nachádzajú po celej dĺžke potoka. Neďaleko kešky sa nachádza studnička a chatka, pri ktorej si môžete spraviť oheň a opiecť nejakú pochutinu, alebo si len tak oddýchnuť po krátkej prechádzke.
The Winter creek is situated behind the municipal part of Stropkov – Bokša. It is included in the water flux of the river Ondava at the territory of Stropkov. This interesting place offers tourists various kinds of fauna and flora. Just to mention one: spotted salamander that dwells around clear forest streams and wells where it tends to reproduce. This implies that the environment around the creek is pretty clean and eye-taking. One of the attractions of this place are large rocks that cover the whole length of the creek. In the vicinity of the creek we can find a well and a wooden shelter where visitors may stop for a while, have barbecue or just relax before they set up on their hiking trip.
