Cachen är belägen vid godset Skönabäck som tidigare tillhörde Brodda säteri som då var en av Skånes största jordägare. 1809 delade dock ägaren vid Brodda, en Cornelius Alexander Cronsioe, upp sina ägor i en sydlig del som behöll namnet Brodda och en nordlig del som fick namnet Skönabäck. 1811 blev Skönabäck ett eget gods och fyra år efter erhöll godset säterirättigheter och blev alltså skattebefriade. Själva cachen ligger på en liten och fantastiskt vacker ö med en aning naturmystik omkring sig.

The cache is situated at the estate of Skönabäck which belonged to the manor of Brodda which were one of Scania's biggest landowners at the time. At the year 1809 the owner of Brodda, a Cornelius Alexander Cronsioe, divided the land into a southern part which kept the name Brodda and a northern part which took the name Skönabäck. In 1811 Skönabäck became an independent manor and four years after it was freed from tax. The cache itself is located on a lovely and very beautiful island who has a bit of nature mystery about it.
