STEVIE NICKS "Stephanie Lynn" is een Amerikaanse zangeres . Geboren op 26 mei 1948 in Phoenix Arizona . In het midden van de jaren 70 werd Stevie Nicks een megaster als charismatische zangeres van de (voormalige) Engelse bluesformatie Fleetwood Mac . waar ze in 1974 als "package deal" werd aangenomen door Mick Fleetwood . daar waar het eigenlijk alleen om haar toenmalige levensgezel Lindsey Buckingham ging . Nicks paste echter wonderwel in het nieuwe concept en samen met Buckingham zetten ze Fleetwood Mac weer op de kaart ► De single Stand Back stond in 1983 slechts vier weken in de Nederlandse Top 40.
