Sheep Dip Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This plunge sheep dip is a permanent in-ground structure and was used to dip sheep in insecticide and fungicide to protect them from infestations of parasites such as itch mite, blow-fly, ticks and lice. I have however been unable to find out any information about this particular sheep dip - so if anybody does know anything of its' history please let me know.
It is now in a bit of a dilapidated state and care should be taken because of uneven ground, water, nettles and rickety fencing. There is no need to go inside the fencing. There is parking right next to the site.
