There is an active group of Whyalla Geocachers that like to have a bit of a race to be the FIRST TO FIND on any new cache in town. This trail is dedicated to all of us that like to have a go at the coveted gold.
The next cache in the series will be placed after the each one is first found. The cacher who is FIRST TO FIND can place the next cache if they wish, otherwise I will.
I hope to get this trail all the way to Iron knob.
I also hope it will be worked on by many from this active Whyalla Geocaching Community, with possibly a few out of towners placing some too (I am happy to assist with any maintenance for non locals).
This cache is not far out from Iron Knob.
As I was driving by there was this very slight rise on the road, from here you can see a fair way over the arid plains that make up a lot of this area.
The cache itself is just a bison haning in one of the very few trees in the area.
