Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden along a well established Elk trail in the forest with magnificent views along the way. It is part of a series with Beachguy's hides.

Along this locally used hiking trail...go up, up, up and follow the winding creek bed to your right!  Eventually this will lead you several other caches and an incredible view of the ocean, all of Lincoln City and even Devil’s Lake.  Be sure to bring along appropriate gear; snacks, water, first aid kit, bug repellant, hat.  There is cell phone reception up here.  Stay on this established trail…

You are now climbing slowly in a ridgeline grove of Old Spruce matriarchs. The cache is held here by one holding its arm upward. Cache is placed in the "V" formed and seemed apt, due to this being number "V" (5) in the series. See the pic, thats the tree. The fly in the ointment is, you need to be at the correct angle to this tree for this to be helpful at all.

Container is a small gatoraid lid cache about 1.5 inches round. it has some natural camo around it. I will bump up the difficulty a point because there are a lot of trees here, and most look the same. Hell, they are probably all related.

I had 20 some foot accuracy here and I tried for some time to get it better. I couldn't so thats why I encluded a picture. Good luck!
