A nice bit of exercise up the trail from the Courtney Road parking area.
We found this area a while ago but just got around to putting the cache in. This cache should give you enough exercise to know you did something but not enough to wipe you out. Courtney Road is about 5 miles east of Bingen along Highway 14. From the parking area go around the gate and head up the hill. At the first chance head up the hill and get on the trail that heads back to the west. Before long you will see a large pine tree with multiple tops. Just past the tree is a LARGE clump of poison oak on the left side of the trail. Just past that clump is a faint trail heading west. You will do some overland trekking to get to the cache but you can do most of it walking on the larger rocks so you don't injure too many flowers. There is a smaller seriously windswept pine close to the cache and it is right on the edge of the bluff so take care. The cache is a medium lock and lock full of goodies and a geocoin for FTF.
