safechrisLaurie: The bison in this container is good, but the host container is long gone. Not sure when I will get lucky enough to find another skull on my adventures, so in the spirit of this one, I will have to let it go.

Geocache Description:

While hiking with Jackie on a Sunday afternoon, we commented on how there needed to be another cache on this trail. But since you aren't supposed to wander off trail, this spot will have to do.

We found the perfect cache container earlier in our adventures on the trail. Tried to make a bigger log fit, but it looked kind of silly poking out of the eye socket, so the bison is going to have to do!


Bring lots of water if you continue on the trail. There is very little shade for your next portion of your hike and it can get kind of brutal out here without any protection from the sun.
