Approximately 4.5 miles north of Ephrata on Norton Canyon Rd.
This cache is to take the place of a previous cache that used to be nearby -- "Grant Co. Jury Duty: The Big Picture" (GC1ZH3J)
I've had caches burnt by wildfire, moved, stolen before even being published, flooded, bulldozed, attacked by rodents, attacked by muggles and the tree another cache was in cut down and hauled away.
Now, "plowed under" can be added to the list. Some hard working farmer decided to turn sage land into wheat land........R.I.P "Grant Co. Jury Duty...." Imagine that -- a farmer wanting to farm.
The previous cache was placed during lunch time when I was on jury duty in Ephrata one September afternoon. Good thing I didn't have a flat tire that day.....the judge may not have been too happy with a missing juror.
I decided to set this as a new cache, rather than simply adjusting coords since it's a new container placed in a different style. Besides that, the locals can always use a new cache to go after.

From this location it seems as if one can see the entirity of Grant County. It's an expansive view on a high and lonsesome hilltop.
Terrain is a brush covered road side. Didn't see any, but snake warning should be in effect during the warm season.
Cache is small. BYOP. Please re-hide as found. Have fun.
