It is very hard to hide a cache on the Barwon River due mainly to the legendary Bushfire's fantastic caching efforts. This cache location is therefore forced out of town a bit to a "beautiful location", or it used to be!!!
A beautiful location attracts people to enjoy the scenery, remoteness, peacefulness and wildlife etc. Then why do they then do their level best to destroy it once there?
i was absolutely astounded when I came here to hid a traditional cache to find the area has been trashed by graffiti and illegal rubbish dumping. What a disgrace!!
Anyway, I have decided to still hide a relatively easy find in a location that needs to be seen to be believed. This piece of Barwon Riverside is magnificent but utterly spoiled by vandalism.
Please come and see what some people in our society can do to our natural heritage. Why does this happen? It must be stamped out!!
Enough of the emotion - I thought it about time that I hide an easy find traditional cache given the apparent difficulty of my last few. Here it is.
