Geocache Description:

This is the first series by the youngest member of the Ahern Clan. After a recent hike in the area with his school hiking club, Dylan decided this would be a fun and great location to place some caches.

UPDATE - November, 2019

DUE TO FLOODING, USFS HAS CHANGED THE PATH OF THE GIRDNER TRAIL. This cache has been relocated and the coordinates are updated. Although you no longer have to cross the wide wash, please note the new trail may have a wet crossing. If this is the case:

1) DO NOT CROSS THE CREEK IF IT IS RUNNING!! Remember the warning that 'geocaching can be dangerous'?
2) DO NOT LOG IT AS DNF!!Just because you can't access it due to mother nature DOES NOT MEAN it is missing! This only causes GC to send me a note to check on something that's still there.

This series of caches are along the Girdner Trail, a scenic Sedona trail that is well marked and like all trails, presents the usual challenges of rocks, sand and wildlife often encountered in desert terrain. Trailhead parking coordinates are included. Be sure to follow the signs for Girdner Trail.

This cache is one of six in a part of a puzzle series to find " A.C. - Dylan's First Series - You Found It!". On the top of each log a letter corresponds with a number. Once you have gathered all the numbers, it will provide you the correct coordinates for the final cache. You do not have to complete the series to log this cache.

This is a 'log only' cache and you will need to bring your own writing instrument.
