Geocache Description:


"Electric Avenue" is a song by Eddy Grant. It was released as a single in 1982, and reached number two on the UK Singles Chart and in the United States. The title referring to Electric Avenue, a market street in the Brixton area of London.

In 1880, Electric Avenue was so named after it became the first street in London to be lit by electricity.

While placing this cache, I visited an area nearby that made me think that this is where power posts grew. Sadly that place is no longer.

PLEASE NOTE - this cache is placed for SCAR 2013 and should not be sought out until after 5:30 PM on May 17th.
