Geocache Description:

Walking from Middlewood camp in a westerly direction along the past you will come towards a gate.  Just before the gate and north of the past is a pile of roofing slates buried in moss. Behind the pile of slates the cubs made a small Cairn and hidden the beaker under there.

This was to give the cubs experience of map reading and to hide their own geocache.

The cache is a small plastic beaker the size of a coke can with an A4 sheet of paper inside for logging finders.

This geocache was placed by Billinge Cubs Team C during a walk from the base camp of Middlewood Scout Camp where a team of 19 cubs had been on camp over the weekend from 12th April 2013.
