Αυτή η κρύπτη δημιουργήθηκε για την "Cache In Trash Out" εκδήλωση στην Αθήνα την 20η Απριλίου 2013. Ως μέρος επιλέχθηκε το "Πάρκο Περιβαλλοντικής Ευαισθητοποίησης Αντώνης Τρίτσης" ένα μέρος που χρειάζεται και "Cache In" αλλά και "Trash out".
This cache was planted for the "Cache In Trash Out" event in Athens the 20th of April 2013. The area chosen the "Environmental Awareness Park Antonis Tritsis" is a park that needs "Caches In" and Trash Out.
" Ο Αγαθαρχίδης ο Κνίδιος (2ος π.Χ. αιώνας) ήταν αρχαίος Έλληνας φιλόσοφος (περιπατητικός - αριστοτελικός), φυσιοδίφης και επιστήμονας, που ασχολήθηκε με τη φυσική και τη γεωγραφία. Έζησε τον 2ο π.Χ. αιώνα στην Αλεξάνδρεια της Αιγύπτου, και πέρασε το μεγαλύτερο μέρος της πολυτάραχης ζωής του ταξιδεύοντας και καταγράφοντας γεωγραφικές παρατηρήσεις, παρατηρήσεις για τα ζώα και τα φυτά και εθνολογικά στοιχεία. Περιέγραψε λαογραφικά στοιχεία αρχαίων λαών, όπως των ιχθυοφάγων της ανατολικής Αφρικής. Επίσης, έδωσε πληροφορίες για τα μεταλλεία χρυσού της αρχαίας Αιθιοπίας και του πλούτου του εμπορίου των παράλιων χωρών στην Ερυθρά θάλασσα.
Ο Αγαθαρχίδης ερμήνευσε πρώτος το φαινόμενο της περιοδικής πλημμύρας του Νείλου, δηλαδή όλου του φαινομένου της παλίρροιας. Επίσης, από τα κείμενά του ίσως να μπορεί και να χαρακτηριστεί ως μακρινός πρόδρομος της παρασιτολογίας, δηλαδή της επιστήμης που μελετά νόσους που προέρχονται από παράσιτα του ανθρώπινου οργανισμού."

Agatharchides (Ἀγαθαρχίδης or Agatharchus Ἀγάθαρχος) of Cnidus was a Greek historian and geographer (flourished 2nd century BC). Agatharchides was not well known in ancient times.
Of his two major works, Affairs in Asia, and Affairs in Europe, only a few fragments survive, too few to provide us with any sense of the contents of either work. However, for his On the Erythraean Sea in five books, almost the entire fifth book, a geographical treatise on the Horn of Africa and the lands around the Red Sea, has survived almost intact.
According to Burstein, "the comparative soberness of Agatharchides' treatment compared to previous accounts and the wealth of information contained in it led to a quick recognition . . . [that it was] a valuable summary of the results of Ptolemaic exploration."
In the first book of On the Erythraean Sea was a discussion respecting the origin of the name. In the fifth he described the mode of life amongst the Sabaeans in Arabia, and the Ichthyophagi, or fish-eaters, the way in which elephants were caught by the elephant-eaters, and the mode of working the gold mines in the mountains of Egypt, near the Red Sea.
His account of the Ichthyophagi and of the mode of working the gold mines, has been copied by Diodorus (iii.12-18). Amongst other extraordinary animals he mentions the camelopard, which was found in the country of the Troglodytae, and the rhinoceros. Agatharchides also reported that people in the Horn region already circumcised their women in the Egyptian tradition.
