CACHE DETAILS:

You are looking for a regular size Lock&Lock in WinterPlace Park.

As the cache name suggests.....you will be walking on the trails in the park.

Park Hours: Dawn to Dusk

WINTERPLACE PARK DESCRIPTION:

WinterPlace Park is Wicomico County’s largest recreational area, encompassing over 377 acres of land. Located just off of Route 50 across from Perdue Stadium, the versatile park is easily accessible to locals as well as those traveling from out-of-town. Because of its size and convenient location, WinterPlace Park hosts many of Salisbury’s large events and festivals including the Pork in the Park BBQ Festival, Delmarva Bike Week, and the Wicomico Farm and Home Show. For more information on these festivals and more, please visit www.wicomicotourism.org.

In addition to being ideal for large events, WinterPlace Park is also a great spot for sports and general recreation. It is equipped with a walking and cross country trail, a pavilion, permanent restroom facilities, and a playground area. The park property also boasts:

2 softball fields
4 baseball fields (home to the East Wicomico Little League)
2 soccer/lacrosse fields
2 tennis courts
2 beach volleyball courts
