“Set” by Imogen and Archie; two amazing six year olds who had a whale of a time throwing sticks in the stream while I sought out this hide. Called this one Billy Goat Gruff because out of the blue this location reminded me of the kid’s story.
However you won’t have to meet the nasty Troll to find this one, in fact you won’t have to leave the road, but you will need to be on foot. No climbing in the river, nothing strenuous. So you will have been able to enjoy this lovely peaceful walk down into this valley which burst into colour in the spring and is a fest of wildlife.... if you’re lucky. Anyway it’s on the bridge. By the way, print off this location and description, your phone probably won’t work here.
