Geocache Description:

Mt. Sinai Harbor was a very busy vacation area, even in the early 19th century.  Vacationers would stay in private homes or small hotels, and eventually, many bought permanent homes on the North Shore.  Satterly's Landing was a boathouse run by L. Minor Satterly and his wife Charlotte Ketcham Hawkins.  Boats were rented out for fishing or just a relaxing time on the Sound.  The boathouse was operational until the 1920s when the land was purchased by George Platford.
Now the area is a nice little park with a small dock overlooking the Sound with fishing access.  You are looking for a small silver container that is placed in an spot you should be able to stealthily access even if there are muggles enjoying the view from the dock.  Cache contains log only.  Please bring something to sign in with and be sure to re-hide well.  Enjoy the view and happy caching!

**Update 3/8/21 ~ Cache has been replaced with a black bison.  Same location still applies.  Enjoy the hunt!
