A boat or a Kayak is necessary. Try to bring booties, or some form of shoe as there is an occasional patch of fire weed on the plateau. You'll find the cache located in a tree on the north side of the island. Happy Geocaching! And may the odds be ever in your favor!
"Bird Island" is a spoil island located in Lake Tohopekaliga, formed in 2004 when Florida Fish and Wildlife scraped the heavy load of organic sediments that ringed the lake. BYOP!
