Geocache Description:

Logarithm- the exponent by which another fixed value, the base, must be raised to produce that number.

Logarithm commonly referred to as "log" is a way to graph large amounts of values. Logarithm is used in a graph is called a logarithmic graph. This graphing technique uses exponents to record large numbers. For example, a "Log10" graph would use 10 as its base number and the numbers on the graph (1, 2, 3, etc.) would be the exponents. The graph would start at 100 =1and continue on growing larger (101=10,102=100 and so on). As the graph gets higher, the numbers are on a different (usually smaller) scale than the previous numbers because they are much larger and would require much more room if they were not on a smaller scale.

The cache is located in Telge Park and is a short walk from the parking lot. The container is a medium sized Vaseline container covered with black duct tape. The park closes at night. Please close the container securely to prevent the cache from being waterlogged. The cache is on the ground under natural ground cover. There is not much need to bushwhack. Watch for poisonous plants and snakes! I got bit by ticks trying to place this one.....be careful!

Congratulations TexasWriter for FTF!
