There is a legend of an old man who lived in Eaton Cyn. this may have been his old home years ago. Take any path in Eaton Canyon then proceed up cyn past the bridge toward the waterfall. take the trail until you reach about N34 11.690 W118 06.095, then go right. the path goes up the gully. after about 50 yards look for path to destination on left. At the top you may run across an old sun dial. still anchored in the ground! Hike is 1/2 mi past bridge. hard part is at the end.
there is always lousy GPS reception when entering the canyon. If you proceed to where the canyon opens up in about 1/3 of a mile. you will get great reception and the cache position will become evident!
The Cache is in a small IGLOO water container (1 Gal) orange. it is under some rocks. Cache contains:
