The Blackfriars pub on the wedge corner that once was surrounded by many other buildings. Saved from demolition in the 1960s by Sir John Betjeman and Lady Dartmouth and remains the only art nouveau pub in London..
We hope to commandeer tables at the front of the pub where a wide range of hot and cold drinks are served. Hot and cold food is also available for most of the evening. It’s a very tourist friendly pub and also popular with City workers so expect it to be cosy. Being an ancient pub there are no wheelchair access, sorry and is not dog friendly inside either although there is a large open patio to the front.
The London Event takes place randomly mid-week each month and we welcome all Geocachers from all points of the coordinates!
