Six Six Six: Streak Challenge Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

den sure kalkun: Very sorry to the people trying to make arrangements for visiting this cache. I was actually out collecting in the cache at around the same time the notes were posted. So I'm afraid it won't be possible any more.

Thank you to everyone who visited. Perhaps somebody else would like to make a cache somewhere with the same DT rating, since it is quite a rare combination. Not for my sake, for I'm moving away from Denmark soon, but for those people who need to fill in their matrices. That was always the purpose of this cache: a service to those who needed that DT rating.

Since making it, I've gone slightly off the idea of challenge caches, especially since there are some very strange ones (mine included), so ridiculous ones (like not caching for a month), and also because some COs have a prohibition against people writing in the log before you qualify. Let me make this totally clear: I believe it is absolutely wrong for a CO to create a challenge cache and tell potential finders they have to qualify first, and THEN write in the log. I can understand that most people would prefer to do it that way, but that's not up to the CO. Particularly, if somebody visits from a long distance away, and is unaware that the challenge exists. Upon seeing it, they might not have time to qualify before their visit, meaning they either have to come back, or can't log it. That's ridiculous. That rule only benefits those people who live nearby or those people who continually scan the world for challenges just in case they go there. And presumably that second group are permanently trying to qualify for a hundred different challenges all at once. It's totally absurd. Put the other way around, if you allow people to log and THEN qualify, who is getting an unfair advantage? Precisely nobody. So why tell people they aren't allowed to do it? It makes no sense, none at all.

Geocache Description:

This is a challenge cache.  To log it, you should first understand and qualify for the challenge.

To qualify, you have to log 666 caches in a row without any days off.  You don't have to do it over 666 days.  You can qualify in just one day!  Just find 666 caches.

You can use any type of cache, in any country.  You mustn't use your own caches, and you mustn't reuse old caches.  But if you already had a streak of 666 caches before this was published, then you can use that to qualify.  If a cache in your streak gets archived, it doesn't matter.  The cache still counts!

Examples
You find 1 cache a day for 666 days = qualified
You find 1 cache a day for 660 days, then take a break for 1 day = you have to start again!
You find 350 caches on day 1, 300 caches on day 2, and 20 on day 3 = qualified.

I qualified by logging 666 caches between 14th June 2012 and 15th April 2013 with no breaks.

I have added the "climbing gear" attribute to this cache because it is only safe to log it using ropes. There are dead branches up the tree that won't take a person's weight, so if you do risk it without ropes, be extremely careful.
