Geocache Description:

WORLDWIDE FLASHMOB EVENT!!!!

Saturday, May 4th at 10am.
 The location is Washington Park in El Segundo. It was chosen for it's convenience just off of Pacific Coast Highway and abundant free parking. You MUST be present and sign the log sheet during this time to claim this event as a find. And considering the size of the log and we'll all be pictured with it, you can't armchair this one!!! After 15 minutes the event is over and may continue elsewhere if we like.
Contest for who gets to be FTF is simple. Post a number from 10 to 99 in a note on this page. The closest number to the last 2 digits of the address of the elementary school I attended wins! It's a large log and we must start immediately signing it for the group picture at the end. Winner will be notified at 10am sharp!


 Event Schedule:
 09:45 - 09:59 AM:
Arrive near, but not at GZ. Act as if you're a muggle in the area. While waiting, see if you can find a silver Volvo station wagon with a travel bug on the rear, driver's-side quarter. Log that you discovered it please. It's my cachemobile!!!
10:00 AM--
Dash to GZ! You'll see an orange traffic cone with a GC logo, lights, and a strobe beckoning you to GZ.
10:01 - 10:14 AM--
Connect with old geofriends and make new ones. Sign the largest geo-log ever at 3 feet wide! Bring all the stickers and stamps you want and have the kids bring multi-colored pens, finger paint, sharpies, glitter and glue, and even spray-paint!!! I'll have an extra large roll of paper if anyone want's to get artsy for 15 minutes. Even travel bugs you have on you to hang on the log for the pic. Nothing's off limits! Then we'll hold up the log in front of the group for the group picture!!
10:15 AM --
Get on your way before local muggles know what hit them!
There will be donuts from world's famous Randy's Dounuts!
(Must provide your own coffee. )

A drawing will be held at the event to win a
State of California Travel Flag, unregistered travel bug!

There will also be a nationwide drawing for special WWFM X swag. How to enter? Gotta attend the event! Log your name on the biggest geo-log ever! Printed information with a link to enter the contest, along with other links to keep up with info about the tenth anniversary of the world wide flash mob event will be handed out.

So come on out on a Saturday morning and be a part of over 10,000 people at over 556 events in over 42 countries!

A little side note. This will be my caching buddy Virge's 1,000th find! To commemorate, the V1000 (GC4B73M) will be published just after the event. I figure a big FTF party! It's .8 miles from the flash mob so some of us can walk if so inclined, or we can all hop in our geomobiles. Plenty of parking at GZ to celebrate this additional event, right here in Virge's own backyard!
