A series of caches hidden to celebrate the locations of Scout Groups that have existed in Keirawarra (Scout) District (Helensburgh to Mount Kembla). It is 90 years this year (2013) since the opening of the first Scout Groups in the Wollongong Districts.
1st Keiraville Scout Group Headquarters - 15 Grey Street Keiraville.
This (8) Scout Group is still in existence, currently with a Cub Pack, Scout Troop and Venturer Unit. It almost (6) died ten years ago, but had a significant (3) resurgence thanks to a change in leadership. They are currently having trouble renewing their lease from the Housing Department, and may be forced to relocate into the 1st Gwyneville Scout Group Hall.
There are several Leaders in (5) this Group that geocache. There is also a cache hidden within 160m of this location. As (5) such, I have had to hide my cache away (5) from here.
If you want to find the cache the hard way, look for the 'Gwynneville Pigeon Society.' If you want to find it the easier way, use the numbers in brackets dispersed within the text, the correct Southings are the first three numbers, the final three numbers are the Eastings.
