Tree Pox Tree Pox is another in the "Off The Beaten Path Series"
Sometimes you just walk down a path and stumble across something strange. This tree clearly has a case of "The Tree Pox". Now for those that do not know, Tree Pox is only found in the Pacific Northwest in and around areas that had ebbing glaciers in the past. The signs you see are normally rocks growing out of the tree bark. Don't worry you will not catch Tree Pox but you might add some.
The path starts on the west side of the trail going up a small slope. At first it’s hard to follow due to the ferns near, Coordinates N 48 12.895 W 122 29.318 Remember use caution when doing anything off trail. The rating is high due to the need for pathfinding skills.
