Geocache Description:

CELEBRATE WORLD WIDE FLASH MOB X

********************************

Hats off to geocaching! Or should we say hats on? Grab a hat and join us for a world wide flash mob event. Any hat, cap, bonnet, helmet or hood will do. Please do not wear masks or headgear that cover the face.

What is a flash mob event? It’s a geocaching event that lasts exactly 15 minutes -- no more, no less. Greater than 550 events in 42 countries will all occur on the same day.

Why do it? For the fun of it, of course! Also, cachers logging an “Attended” will receive a WWFM geocaching souvenir on their profile page (see photo hyperlink below). You must be present and sign the event log between 10:00 am and 10:15 am to claim the event.

SCHEDULE:

Shortly before 10:00 am
Don’t wear your hat yet. Mosey around the park, staying a fair distance from ground zero. Be casual and act like a muggle. Don't look like a gathering waiting to happen. Part of the fun will be appearing out of nowhere.

10:00 am
HATS ON! Gather at ground zero. Mingle. Share caching stories. Discover and trade trackables. Write your caching name on an entry slip and drop it in (what else?) the hat for a chance to win a raffle item. Don’t forget to sign the event log!

10:10 am
Snacks will be handed out. Names will be drawn for raffle items.

10:12 am
Assemble for a group photo.

10:14 am
One-minute warning will be called. Prepare to leave. Gather your stuff and perform a CITO of the area.

10:15 am
HATS OFF! Leave the area in different directions. Please do not linger at ground zero.

HAPPY CACHING!
