Un acquedotto è un'opera, più o meno complessa, costruita per trasportare acqua da un posto ad un altro per soddisfare vari scopi: uso potabile, uso irriguo, uso industriale. La parola deriva dai due termini della latino aqua ("acqua") e ducere ("condurre").
Costruttivamente può essere realizzato in vari modi: con canali artificiali, con tubazioni o con soluzioni miste.
Nel caso di canali il funzionamento può essere solo a pelo libero, nel caso di tubazioni anche in pressione.
Per gli acquedotti potabili, si preferisce il funzionamento in pressione, perché da maggiore garanzia di igienicità, anche se in Puglia è stato realizzato all'inizio del Novecento il Canale Principale dell'Acquedotto Potabile del Sele - Calore, tuttora in esercizio, che funziona a pelo libero.
Molti acquedotti attraversano il paesaggio con dei ponti o somiglianti a dei piccoli fiumi. Acquedotti abbastanza larghi possono essere utilizzati da imbarcazioni. Sono tipi particolari di ponti, che anziché far superare ostacoli a strade e ferrovie, trasportano acqua. Ma, mentre con i ponti stradali si possono raggiungere punti più elevati rispetto al percorso di base, la cosa è ovviamente impossibile per l'acquedotto.

La cache è nascosta vicino ad un pozzo dell’acquedotto. Per trovarla dovete recarvi alle cordinate indicate. Vi trovere davanti ad un cancello, ora cercate:
  • un numero di 3 cifre su un’oggetto di colore grigio (A)
  • un numero di 4 cifre scritto in bianco (B).
La cache si trova a queste cordinate:

An aqueduct is a work, more or less complex, built to carry water from one place to another to satisfy various purposes: drinking, irrigation, industrial use. The word is derived from two Latin words aqua ("water") and ducere ("lead").
Constructively can be made in several ways: artificial canals, with pipes or with mixed solutions.
In the case of canals the operation may be only in free surface, in the case of pipes, also under pressure.
For the drinking water supply, it is preferred operate under pressure, because is more guarantee of hygiene, although in Puglia has been realized at the beginning of the twentieth century the Canale Principale dell'Acquedotto Potable Sele - Calore, still in operation, which works in free surface.
Many aqueducts across the landscape with bridges or that look like small rivers. Some aqueducts are wide enough to be used by boats. Are special types of bridges, instead of to overcome obstacles to roads and railways, transport water. But, as with road bridges you can reach points higher than the base path, it is obviously impossible for the aqueduct.

The cache is hidden near a well aqueduct. To find it you have to go to the coords given. You will find in front of a gate, now look for:
  • 3-digit number on an object gray (A)
  • 4-digit number written in white (B).
