A series of caches hidden to celebrate the locations of Scout Groups that have existed in Keirawarra (Scout) District (Helensburgh to Mount Kembla). It is 90 years this year (2013) since the opening of the first Scout Groups in the Wollongong Districts.
1st Woonona Scout Group Headquarters - Salvation Army Church, Corner Hillcrest Avenue and Luxor Street Woonona.
This Scout Group was sponsored and ran by The Salvation Army. This was a fairly common occurrence in Scouting days gone by. Whilst the Scout Group is long gone, The Salvos still occupy this location.
