Geocache Description:

A nice hike along the bike path and the American River lead you to this cache. Also fun to look for birds and other kinds of wildlife on the way.

The cache is hidden off of the horse trail in a beautiful shady spot.  You do not have to bushwhack to get this cache so please try to leave the wildlife alone.  The general location of the cache is a good place to rest after a hike and if you listen you can hear all types of wildlife.  If you continue down the trail you will find lots of pretty beaches and birds everywhere.  Also make sure to bring your camera and binoculars to get a look of animal life up close and to save pretty views forever in your camera.  There was no poison oak seen near the cache site but blackberries are around.  Enjoy!
