A series of caches hidden to celebrate the locations of Scout Groups that have existed in Keirawarra (Scout) District (Helensburgh to Mount Kembla). It is 90 years this year (2013) since the opening of the first Scout Groups in the Wollongong Districts.
1st Thirroul Scout Group Headquarters - (3) McCauley Park, 35 Surfers Parade Thirroul.
The newest Scout Hall in the District, the Group moved here but a few years ago following their forced departure from their former location. The Group (2) consists of a Cub Pack, Scout Troop and Venturer Unit.
Hoojar grew up 100m from this location, (4) however he did not attend this Scout Group.
As their (3) is already a cache placed nearby, I have had to hide my cache away from here.
If you want to find the cache the hard way, head south to the end of the cul-de-sac and the (3) look east at the end of the retaining wall. If you want to find it the easier way, use the numbers in brackets dispersed within the text, the correct Southings are the first three numbers, the final three (1) numbers are the Eastings.
