This event is part of the WWFM X - World Wide Flash Mob coordinated events.
A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, do something unusual for a brief period of time, then quickly disperse.
WHEN: Saturday, May 4th, 2013 TIME: Sharp at 12:00 Noon Mountain Daylight time.
WHERE: Bridger Veterans Park. Parking along "B" Street and East Carbon Avenue.
STAY AWAY at least 50 yards from ground zero until you get the signal! Pretend and act like a "muggle".
12:00 Noon - At exactly 11:58 AM as determined by the Bridger Signal Device, (you WILL hear it) - TableRocks! will step out his front door and proceed to the park placing a bucket at the coordinates to signify the start of the event. You may then converge on ground zero for the official event. Log sheets will be handed out. Bring your own writing stick. Sign individual log sheets and drop them in the bucket. To save time you may bring your own log sheet with your name written on it.Then mingle, chat, and all the other things cachers do.
12:06 AM - Assemble for and take group photo.
12:10 AM - Log slips will be pulled for the first to find and door prizes. (everyone gets something) Clean up and prepare to leave.
12:14 - One minute warning is called "It is now 11:14".
12:15 AM – IT'S OVER!! The pail will be picked up and everyone must leave “ground zero”. If you missed placing your log sheet in the pail, you missed the event, and will not be allowed to log this event.
If everything goes right we will have several people converging on one spot for a 15 minute geocaching event and then disappearing. This could be lots of fun and maybe even raise a few muggle eyebrows. So come on out and enjoy Bridger's First WWFM event!
