Geocache Description:

Saturday, 4 May 2013 at exactly 10:00 am local time

Thousands of geocachers around the world will seemingly appear out of nowhere, all at exactly the same time, for a...

WORLD WIDE FLASH MOB!

A "flash mob" is where a group of people seemingly appears out of nowhere and starts doing something in public.

What's a "world wide flash mob"? It's where hundreds of geocaching flash mob events all around the world are coordinated to happen at exactly the same time. Last year, there were over 15000 attendees at 312 events in 31 countries!

The plan
Leading up to the start time, don't congregate at the posted coordinates. Mill around nearby, enjoy the view, take pictures, play in the park, just don't act strange. Act like a muggle minding their own buisness

At exactly 10:00 am on our GPSrs, Bajabetty will appear and drop a geocache at the posted coordinates. Then everyone will all converge on the posted coordinates for a 15 minute gathering! There will be a logbook for everyone to sign and bring a slip of paper with your name on it for the chance to win a prize! Since this is also Star Wars day, do something Star Wars like - costumes are more then welcome!

At 10:05, we'll take a group photo.
At 10:10, we'll do the draw for the FTF prize.
At 10:15, all the gathered geocachers will leave the site and go do what cachers do on a lovely Saturday!(that's caching folks! Feel free to go off caching or for coffee, just whatever it is, do it far from the event site. - Make sure you stop by Chet & Jane's event too!!!)

Other Info
The event will only last 15 minutes, so make sure you give yourself enough time to get there.

I've learned that there will be a souvenir available for attendees. Make sure you submit your "Attended" log soon after the event so you don't miss out on receiving the souvenir.

This event isn't just for geocachers. If you have some muggle friends that you want to introduce to geocaching, you're more than welcome to bring them along! There'll likely also be some muggles on site that will be wondering what's going on, so if they ask questions, explain geocaching!

Have fun!
