The World Wide Flash Mob Caching Event.
A "Flash Mob" gathering of geocachers; only 15 minutes long, held simultaneously around the globe. Please bring a writing tool to sign your attendance.
The Fourth was definitely with the local cachers today with their light sabres flashing.
The Event will begin precisely at 11:00am on May 4, 2013 at the Viking Youth Park, Cranbrook B.C. on 17th Avenue South. This is an open public space. Come fifteen minutes early to find parking nearby. Mingle with the other attendees before the Event begins; but no socializing, we are strangers at this point. SEE NOTE.
NOTE: Do NOT talk to other cachers until the whistle sounds, just walk around and explore the area. Anyone caught talking will be cloned and sent off to a Galaxy far far away to live with the evil Sith. The force will not be with you.... no Jedi Knight will fly in to save you.
At exactly at 11:00 am chet will blow the whistle. Geocachers will converge at GZ. jane will hand out raffle tickets and the logbook will be signed.
At 11:10am raffle winners will be announced followed by an official photo of the Event.
Exactly at 11:15:01 am all participants will vaporize and leave no trace we were here.
