Geocache Description:

This is the fifth in an ongoing series of caches related to popular board games past or present. In each case an Internet search will be needed to calculate the whereabouts of the cache, once you have solved the problem. The cache is not at the co-ordinates shown.

One or two? Every journalist wants these. The game contains a telephone but no utensils  to spread the news.

You need to find the U.K. patent No. XXXXX/53
and the Trade Mark Regd No. YYYYYY.

Calculate  XXXXX + YYYYYY to get ABCDEF

The 35mm canister cache can be found at

N.  (EF+B)  (1/4 of CE) . (DCE+200)   E. (AB-FE)  (2/3 of BD) . (0, CE divided by A)

Please be aware that to get to the cache along the public footpath it is necessary to cross arable land. While in the past the farmer left channels un-cropped for walkers to use, the current crop (spring 2013) covers the footpath both to the north and south of the cache. To avoid damaging crops I suggest using the tracks left by the tractor to cross the field to the north of the cache, or walk around the perimeter of the field. The path is not signposted and I have not attempted an alternative route to the south of the cache. I would therefore advise approaching this cache from the same starting point as SS7 and take in the two caches if not already found.
