Pishill Parish Church in the lovely countryside of South Oxfordshire lies on the 'Oxfordshire Way' long distance footpath. There is parking just before the church, off the byway.
A highly unusual 'T' shaped country church in a tranquil location overlooking the Stonor Valley.
The Chiltern's Area of outstanding natural beauty has many walks and caches and the cache GC36ATP ‘Lovely’ first brought us to this church.
Don’t forget to take a look inside the church. There is often tea and flapjack in the porch with an honesty box. A welcome sight for the weary cacher.
New clues but the cache is where it has always been.
Now for the cache:
At the above co-ordinates you should be able to see a large sign with two words across the top. Using the usual conversion a = 1 z = 6, work out the following;
A = fourth letter of first word minus last letter of second word.
B = fifth letter of first word minus sixth letter of first word.
C = third letter of second word.
D= first letter of second word minus third letter of second word
E = first letter of the first word
F = fourth letter of the first word minus fourth letter of the second word
You will find the cache a short walk away at N 51° 36.ABC W 000° 57.DEF (Digit sum = 43)
