Our first foray into hiding some caches. This is a circuit just under 5 miles, based on the walk Wolverton Walkabout in “Walks in the Parish 2007” published by Baughurst Parish Council. There are 8 caches along the route. There are a couple of road stretches, particularly part of the route between number 6 and 7, then 7 and 8 – take care with children and dogs.
Parking is in the carpark for the Playing Fields at Wolverton.
As you travel on to Wolverton Walkabout 7 the path seems to go through a small caravan/mobile home site through which it seems rather odd to pass. However there are footpath signs at both ends, and also on the stile giving entry into the site.
Bring a pen.
