Small plastic storage box with snap-lid. Notebook, pen and pencil inside along with a small animal trinket and a trackable just beginning its journey.
Located about 40km south of Alice Spring on the Old South Road paralleling the Finke Desert Race Track, this cache is at a favourite viewing spot, red sand dunes that rise out of the landscape. Four-wheel drive training also takes place here. Magnificent view back towards Alice Springs and the airport, the site sits on the edge of Ooramina Station.
