Pop-a-paloza Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

kodiakwoodsman: sounds like this location has been compromised... I may place a new cache near here in the future but for right now this cache has run its course.. I've been thinking about archiving it a lot lately and this just forced my hand... Thanks to all who came out and to the last finders for letting me know about it's condition...

Geocache Description:

There was a cache here until very recently. The old cache's cache owner was moving so he contacted a fellow geocacher about adopting the cache that cacher contacted me about replacing the cache instead allowing everyone to come back to this nice little park and get another smiley...

Please be wary of the muggles in the area. If there is a baseball game going on at the back field you are probably better off not looking for this cache because the path to the cache goes behind the "Visitor" dugout and along the fence of the field.

Ok, now onto the name of the cache... Back in NY we tend to call this type of cache a "paloza" cache. This means that it is a cache full of ready to hide cache containers. This cache is filled to the brim with my "signature" pop-top containers.  If you have done my caches along the Maple Highlands Trail you will know exactly what I'm talking about.

You under absolutely no obligation to take a cache-tainer. Take 1 or 2 if you want to otherwise just sign the log book and be on your way.  There is no need to trade to take a container. I will keep this as well stocked as I can. I make these containers and have probably 100 just sitting around the house. If you want more than 2 of them just contact me and I'll meet you somewhere or bring them to an event, within reason, and you can have the containers. I make the raw materials for around 3 a week so I'm in very little danger of running out, although my girlfriend would probably like there to be fewer around the apartment. There is no need to open any of the little containers to access the log book there is a small spiral bound notebook in the container which is the log. There is plenty of room for swag and trackables but I would like to keep the space in the container for ready to hide containers. I will probably put some other containers in the cache, like pill bottles and what not, as the cache gets more visits.

I hope you all enjoy the cache and I look forward to going out and finding the caches that you hide with the containers. Again please be wary of muggles and bring your own pen because I cannot remember if I left one in the container. The cache is not hidden exactly the same as the old cache please rehide as you found it or better...
