Don Ahern's Veteran's Memorial Stadium is the home of the Marist High School Royal Knights Football, Baseball, and Soccer teams (for any BHS or HFA graduates, yes the city allows Bayonne High School and Holy Family Academy use of this field as well). In this park you can catch a game at the stadium, or fish for stripers along the Newark bay. You can find me quite often fishing the dock or umpiring the Babe Ruth League baseball here. You also get a great view of Port Elizabeth and Port Newark from this area.
This cache can be found by the parking lot entrance to the stadium. Although it is easier to find while the gate is open so you can enter the stadium, it can also be discovered while the gate is locked, so I consider this a 24/7 cache. This is my first cache so any feedback would be appreciated.
