The Messalonskee Trail series of caches by Shroomer were some of our first cache finds back when we started! It's a wonderful trail, and now that they've been discontinued we thought we'd set out some caches of our own in the hopes that people will continue to come out and enjoy this trail! Coordinates were taken by averaging over 200 times, and on a clear sunny day. Tree cover may make for some squirrely GZ's, however. The terrain can be a little steep at times, and those with small children will want to be wary of some of the steeper areas that lead down to the water.
