Geocache Description:

This cache is the first to be placed on Anderson Island. Check ferry schedule - you don't want to get stuck out here.

Andy's Marine Park and Nature Sanctuary is on the southern part of the island. When we hid the cache the ground was a little muddy - as summer progresses this should dry-up. If it is a sunny dry day the terrain rating will be lower. The path is lumpy and grassy not smooth and flat at all. There is a small parking lot at the trail head. If you have small children a backpack might be a good idea.

It is called Grandma's Goodies because we raided grandma's house for the treasures. That is also why we had to use a make shift log book.

The cache is a coffee can. It includes: a bandana, can of Mountain Dew, $1.00 in dimes, bracletts, an antique hook, a skeleton key, 5 pesos, keychains, "old" Washington postcards, fishing weights, baseball card game, necklace, golf balls, maple leaves (for decorations), and wooden beads.
