A series of caches about people who have a connection with the Isle of Wight.
 
 


I was born on the Island.
My father was a Church of England priest and left me a sum of money to buy an apprenticeship.
I became a chorister at Christ Church, Oxford.
I was a polymath and used ciphers to guard my ideas.
I performed some pioneering work during my lifetime.
I became a FRS and 3 years later was appointed ‘Curator by Office’.
My observations were published in a book.
I never married.
