This is one of a series of caches along the Mokelumne Trail in Brentwood CA. You can learn more about the Mokelumne Crest-To-Coast Trail at http://mc2ct.org.
On weekdays, there is always a long line of cars down Grant Ave as parents drop off their kids at Pioneer Elementary in the morning and pick them up again in the afternoon. A better time to walk the trail than to drive around here!
You are looking for a small cache, with only room for the log and perhaps very small items.
