Skooba65: It makes me sad to think anyone would steal what it not rightfully theirs and especially when the container had been clearly marked and secured for geocaching. Perhaps when the kids in this neighborhood grow up I will place another in memory of my mother.

Geocache Description:

Small WP container with small swag.

This cache is named after my mother's nickname "Kat" short for Katherine. She passed 5 years ago this coming October from ALS (Lou Gherig's Disease) from this house here. My siblings and I, along with our father, nurtured our mother for 4 long years and stayed by her bed until she drew her last breath.  She would have enjoyed my stories about Geocaching and all the ways I have found the ones I have logged. (not many as of yet) I'm sure she would be out treking the forests with me to look for her "treasure" and leave a God Bless You along with her signed name. At any rate, ALS is a horrible disease and my heart goes out to anyone who has been through this suffering with friends or loved ones. My prayers are with you. 

I placed this cache to the side yard of my house so I could regularly add to its contents with my father enjoying any signed names in the log. If you see him in the garden, ask for a strawberry, I'm sure he'll give you a few, but he won't tell you where the cache is
