Geocache Description:

Cache is located on the Silverbrook Trail, near the nice bridge that crosses the namesake stream that runs through the area. This is a good spot to view wildlife (birds, deer, pteradactyls, sloths, etc). Cache location is just south of the bridge in a spot that should be accessible most times of the year. There is a state wildlife area near this spot (but, this cache is not in that area.). Regular size container awaits.

Daily or yearly park sticker required. Park hours are 6am-11pm. During cross-country ski season, please keep off the groomed trails. There is hunting allowed in parts of the park during the 9-day deer season at the end of November and a few days in the spring during turkey hunting. Just be aware of your surroundings.

Have fun!

About Interstate State Park

Interstate is Wisconsin's oldest state park, established in 1900. Located along the picturesque St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, the park provides scenic views of the river and the steep-sided gorge known as the Dalles of the St. Croix. The Ice Age Interpretive Center features a film, photographs, murals, and information about the great glaciers. There are over 9 miles of hiking trails in the park, many which take you through scenic State Natural Areas.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the park manager at Interstate State Park.
