We would like to welcome anyone and everyone to our biggest and best celebration to date. We are moving our annual event to the counties Premier County Park...Wickham Park located in Melbourne, FL. There are about 40 caches inside the park already and we will be sure to have some new ones for those of you that have found them all already. We are turning this event into a weekend of fun and excitement. This year we will be having a Friday night event, Saturday event, Saturday night event and a Sunday CITO. We are very excited about this years lineup. Sticking with tradition we will have imtomcat doing the emceeing, Dudeswithjeeps will once again be cooking up some meat and we are adding Safari Todd to the mix. Safari Todd will be bringing some Alligators, snakes and other critters for people to learn about, touch and hold. We have also brought in caching team Seastar255/YMG to assist in hosting the Friday night event and Sunday morning CITO event as well as a few other things that you will have to attend to see.
Event registration will start on Saturday morning at 9:00 am. Once registered (sign the log book, pay for your meal, if you have not done so in advance and pick up your goodie bag, if you purchased any items in advance). Safari Todd will be there from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm with a stage show at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. Lunch will be served at 1:00 pm and the raffle will start at 2:00. We promise to make the raffle short this year with only a few big prizes to be given away including a full Kayak setup again this year. The event will wind down at 5:00 pm giving you a couple of hours before the night event starts.
If you are reading this cache page you will see that we are charging for the meal this year. The cost of providing a meal for over 250 people has pushed us in this direction. You will not need to bring anything for the meal so that money you would have spent on something to bring will easily pay for the $5.00 meal. You will not be disappointed in what you get for that price either. If you would like something other than water you are welcome to bring any non-alcoholic drinks.
