Dieser Geocache ist die Fortsetzung der Center of Wine Reihe und der zweite hiervon in Gols. Diesmal handelt es sich um einen kurzen Multi, mit dem ich euch ein paar schöne Plätze in diesem verträumten Weinort zeigen möchte. Der Geocache GC49KGV (Center of Wine - Gols I) liegt quasi auf dem Weg und zwar bei Station 2. Die beiden Geocaches lassen sich somit gut kombinieren. Der Multi ist als Rundweg ausgelegt und hat insgesamt unter 1 km Länge.
Sofern du nicht ohnehin mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs bist, parke dein Fahrzeug am Straßenrand und mache dich auf zur ersten Station.
Station 1: Evangelische Kirche von Gols
Welches Tier (Gattung) ist über dem Haupteingang der Kirche abgebildet? Zähle die Anzahl der Buchstaben des Tiernamens (=A). Wenn du die Kirche umrundest, wirst du auf eine Steintafel stoßen, die mehrere Jahreszahlen enthält. Bilde die Quersumme all jener Ziffern, die nur ein einziges Mal in diesen Stein gemeißelt wurden (=B).
Von der Kirche gehe nun Richtung Norden und biege an der Hauptstraße Richtung Nord-Ost ab. Nach ein paar Metern kommst du zu einem Kresiverkehr. Davor befindet sich ein kleiner Platz mit Tischen, Bänken und einem Brunnen.
Station 2: Rastplatz bei Kreisverkehr
Suche vor Ort nach folgenden Informationen. Wann erhielt Gols das Marktrecht (=C)? Welche Person hat Gols vor welchem Tier gerettet? Lege den Nachnamen der Person nach bekanntem Muster (A=1, B=2, ...) um und bilde die iterierte Quersumme (=D). Zähle dann die Anzahl der Buchstaben des Tiernamens (=E).
Spaziere vom Kreisverkehr weiter in Richtung Süd-Südwest, um nach ein paar Metern Station 3 zu erreichen.
Station 3: nicht mehr vorhanden (wurde abgerissen)
Diese Station muss neu erstellt werden. Bis dahin werden die Werte F und G hier bekannt gegeben.

Nun bist du ausreichend vorbereitet, um den Cache zu suchen. Berechne die Endkoordinaten anhand der unten stehenden Formel.
Cache:
N 47° ((B+G)*C+B+D) / 1000
E 16° ((A²+D)*C+B*E²+B-D-E+F) / 1000
Beim Finale erwartet dich eine weitere Sehenswürdigkeit. Nimm dir also aureichend Zeit dafür.
Der Schwierigkeitsgrad könnte sich auch bei diesem Cache mit zunehmendem Blutalkohol etwas erhöhen.

This is the sequel of the geocache series Center of Wine and the second one in Gols. This one is a multi-cache that will show you some nice places around the center of Gols. The geocache GC49KGV (Center of Wine - Gols I) is situated along the way at stage 2. So these two geocaches can easily be combined. This mulit-cache is a loop walk with less than 1 km distance.
Park your car along the road and move on to the first stage.
Stage 1: Evangelic Church of Gols
Which animal (species) can be found above the main entrance of the church? Count the letters of its name (=A). If you walk around the church you will find a plate of stone reminding us on Luther. There are several numbers on it. Create the checksum of those digits that are carved in that plate only once (=B).
Leave the church and move on to the north until you reach the main street. Turn left and walk on until you reach a roundabout after just some meters. Right next to the roundabout there is a nice place with tables, benches and a fountain.
Stage 2: Picnic Area
Search around that place for following information. When has Gols been granted the right to hold markets (=C)? Who saved Gols from what troubling animal? Take the letters of his surname and calculate the iterative checksum after the well-known scheme (A=1, B=2, ...) (=D). Then count the number of letters of the name of the animal (as carved in the stone, so the German name of course) (=E).
Leave the roundabout and head on into the direction south-southwest to arrive at stage 3 after just some meters.
Stage 3: n/a
This stage was torn down by the government. A new stage will be created. Meanwhile I will share the values for F and G.

Now you are prepared to search for the cache. Use the formula below to calculate the final coordinates.

Once more the difficulty rating could increase with raising concentration of blood alcohol.
