Geocache Description:

These days key to the city is an honor bestowed on people the city wishes to recognize for their achievements. (War hero, Olympian etc.)
The practice of bestowing a ceremonial "key to the city" dates back to medieval times. 
 


Feudal lords protected their cities with high walls and imposing gates. A "key to the city" gave an important diplomat or merchant the authority to pass at will.  A similar ceremonial honor, "freedom of the city," also dates back from the days of knights and jousts. Freemen were distinguished from vassals, who were legally owned by feudal lords. Ah, the bad old days.  Today, cities give their keys to esteemed visitors, prominent locals, and worthy organizations.


This is another cache spawned by the Lil' Mama Cache .  Sorry, you don't get a key to the city, but there are a bunch of keychains to trade.  It would be nice to keep it a keychain for keychain kind of cache, but any trades are gladly accepted.
This is my fourth cache in the Lago Lindo Series of caches.  The first being Welcome to Lago Lindo and the second being Andorra Lake Cache - CARW 2013.  It is a small camoed container.
