Geocache Description:

In keeping with my bike friendly caches, this location is easily bikeable from most points inside the loop. Nano BYOP.

Eastwood is one of Houston's first master planned communities. Designed and developed by William A. Wilson in 1913. The first residents were young entrepreneurs, business owners and managers. The greater east end is undergoing a transformation, with homes being restored, metrorail (soon) and up and coming businesses.

This cache is located in a little known oasis in the east end, which has become the social and cultural center of the area. Here you can enjoy the delicacies of the east, local art and a place to sit and enjoy a beverage in a bohemian atmosphere.
